Comparison

The Snippli alternative to TrustPulse.

TrustPulse has the cheapest entry point in this category and it is built by the team behind OptinMonster, so the setup experience is polished and it slots neatly into a WordPress stack. For a small site that only wants activity notifications, it is hard to beat on price alone.

Two structural details catch people out. TrustPulse sells annual plans only, and its own pricing page notes that introductory pricing renews at full price. If you want to pay monthly, or you want the second year to cost what the first year cost, here is the comparison.

The honest version

When you should not switch.

A comparison page that says the other tool is bad at everything is a comparison page you cannot trust. Here is the real split.

Stay with TrustPulse if

  • You want the lowest possible first-year price and paying twelve months up front is no problem.
  • You already run OptinMonster or WPForms and want everything from the same team.
  • Activity notifications are genuinely all you need, now and later.
  • You want a money-back guarantee rather than a permanent free plan.

Move to Snippli if

  • You would rather pay monthly, or you want year two to cost what year one cost.
  • You want more than notifications without buying a second and third tool.
  • You need Swiss or EU data residency.
  • You want a free plan that does not expire, so you can test properly before paying anything.
Switching

How a move actually works.

Nothing needs to be turned off before you start. Run both, compare, then decide.

01

Open a free Snippli account

No card, no trial clock. Add the one-line script to your site. It sits alongside TrustPulse without conflicting, so nothing breaks while you look around.

02

Rebuild one campaign

Pick the notification that performs best for you today and recreate it in Snippli. It takes a few minutes: choose the widget, paste the copy, set the targeting rules.

03

Compare, then cancel one

Run them side by side for a week or two and look at the numbers rather than the marketing. Whichever loses, turn it off. If that is us, no hard feelings.

Frequently asked

Questions about switching.

Is Snippli cheaper than TrustPulse?

At the entry level, usually yes: Snippli's cheapest paid plan is $4 per month and unlocks all 30+ widgets. Whether it stays cheaper depends on your traffic and on how many separate tools you are replacing. The table above shows the current published prices for both, and the TrustPulse pricing page is linked so you can check it yourself.

Can I run Snippli and TrustPulse at the same time?

Yes. They are separate scripts and they do not conflict. Plenty of people run both during a switch, compare the numbers for a couple of weeks, and then turn one off.

Can I import my TrustPulse campaigns into Snippli?

There is no automatic importer. In practice campaigns are quick to rebuild because the settings map closely: you pick the widget type, paste your copy, set the targeting rules and publish. If you want a hand moving a larger setup across, write to info@snippli.com.

Where is my data stored?

In Switzerland. Every Snippli account, widget configuration and visitor record sits on Swiss infrastructure under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. Snippli is also GDPR, CCPA and PECR compliant, and the embed is cookieless by default.

Will Snippli slow my site down?

No. The embed is a single asynchronous script under 30 KB gzipped. It never blocks rendering, so it does not affect Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint or Cumulative Layout Shift.

So is TrustPulse a bad product?

No, and this page does not claim it is. TrustPulse does what it says it does. The honest answer is that it solves a narrower problem than Snippli, and it prices that problem differently. If the narrower problem is your problem, stay where you are.

Try it before you cancel anything. The free plan does not expire.

One website, three widgets, 1,000 monthly views, no card. Enough to see whether Snippli does the job before you touch your TrustPulse subscription.
